FAQ

Frequently Asked Questions

Q: Why should I consider having my trash cans professionally cleaned?
A: Just using a hose and broom to clean your trash and recycle bins is not sufficient to remove or kill the bacteria and diseases that breed in your cans such as Tuberculosis, Strep, Staph, E-Coli, Salmonella & Listeria. We not only clean your cans - we disinfect, sanitize and deodorize!

Q: How often should my trash and recycle bins be cleaned?
A: We recommend, and our customers agree that you should choose the plan that best fits your needs.

Q: How will I know that my cans have been cleaned?
A: Clean Cans places a small piece of tape that is easily removed to confirm that your container has been professionally cleaned in addition to it smelling and looking clean inside and out.

Q: Sometimes I take my trash cans in early and don't leave them at the curbside. How will they be cleaned?
A: We ask that you leave your trash cans curbside.
Once cleaned we will return them to curbside.

Q: When do you come to service my cans?
A: We will follow local trash and recycling services. We will set up our times to come after your normal pick-up.

Q: My HOA will not allow me to leave my cans out overnight. What are your suggestions?
A: Email us, as chances are we already have a relationship with your HOA, but if not, we will work on a solution to get the job done.

Q: Do my cans need to be empty to receive service?
A: This is one of our most asked questions and YES, they need to be emptied prior to your service.
